Comments: After checking on Angi and being contacted by Velocity Air Conditioning, Inc., I hired the company because my A/C was not cooling. Brandon came out that very day, on a Sunday. After determining that my very old A/C (2005) could not be repaired, I contracted with Velocity to replace my system - A/C, heat pump, and new thermostat. Gary came the very next day and installed my new system, and he checked that it was working properly. Both technicians were very professional, courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend Velocity Air Conditioning, Inc. Velocity does not even charge extra for coming on a Sunday!

Comments: Very professional and honest. My unit was over 15 yrs old and the guy didn't ask me how old my air conditioner was. Every other company I have called for service wanted me to replace my air conditioner when they found out how old my air conditioner was before even looking at it, and all it needed was freon. No high pressure at all from Velocity, not one bit. The guy gave me three options and quotes and left so I could make my own decision. I was so impressed I called him back under 5 minutes to tell him to replace my air conditioner. He sent someone to my house with an air conditioner for the night at no charge and they were back first thing in the morning. I highly recommend this company. The installers were very polite, and answered any questions I had and they did a fantastic job. Velocity is my go to air conditioning service from now on! Give them a call you won't be disappointed.

Comments: We contacted Velocity after another company actually ripped us off for a quick $200. Since I can't say anything nice about them I won't mention their name. Tim, the Velocity Tech, did a thorough troubleshoot and quickly pointed out an issue that likely came from a factory warranted part and made the repairs. The freon replacement was a substantial cost but the overall repair cost was fair and very much worth it. Tim answered all questions and explained what was needed. He also took pictures and provided written explanation for the manufacturer's parts warranty issue. I really appreciate Great Service.

Comments: AC went kaput went to Home Advisor and within minutes received a call from Velocity, inquired on possibility of a technician. Eric was here within of an hour, he was impressive, professional, informative knowledgeable. Diagnosed and explained the problem with our old AC unit in minutes (which he pointed out on the unit with his testing apparatus so I could understand). After accessing the repair cost (which was very fair reasonable) since our unit is some 19 years old we elected to update and purchase a new Trane and within minutes he approved us for 18 months @ 0% interest. Next day Velocity attained city permit and we were so lucky to get Richard K. Jaison M. to do the install, what an amazing team! While watching the removal of old and installation of new, which included a new handler and thermostat what an awaking experience of the amount of work involved. In a few short hours we were enjoying our new Trane and Richard & Jaison (spelled correctly) left us happy & and appreciative of a fantastic experience and a totally spotless yard & garage not to mention hauling off the old units. Hard to believe how well it is cooling and can hardly hear it running and actually up our normal temperature by two degrees and the air feels fresh and amazing. My A/C was working but I thought maybe it was struggling at 11 yrs old. Bill was the tech who came to my house and explained absolutely everything. He took pics in my attic so I wouldn't have to go up, but I went up there anyway. Obviously I'm not air conditioning tech but I could tell something was going on. After the shock wore off, I went ahead and purchased a Goodman unit from them. I did my research and could tell I was being treated fairly. Which blends in nicely with my enormous mistake that Velocity Air covered, and corrected without hesitation. Many thanks to Jason, Runnel, David, Pete, Bill(owner) and Doreen for their can do spirit and positive attitudes during this situation. In short, Bill had given me an estimate by email and I acknowledged the email and told him I’d get back to him. We had just closed on the house and scheduled to leave for a couple of weeks. However while trying to schedule other appointments, I failed to get back to Bill. But thought I had given them the go ahead. On the day, (in my mind), Velocity Air was scheduled to begin working, they (in my mind were late). I called the office and spoke with Doreen. After a short conversation, Doreen asked to call me back. When Doreen called Pete (Supervisor) was on the phone. He stated he didn’t see it on the schedule. By this time Bill was in the office and they had me speak with Bill. After realizing this total cabal was MY MISTAKE, I apologized profusely. Bill said he was sending a crew out with extra hands immediately, and hoped they could finish it all in one day. After my embarrassment, I was glad he still wanted the job. I highly recommend this company for any of your air conditioning needs. They are outstanding and I will hire them again without reservation.

Comments: A technician came to my house promptly at 8 am due to a non functioning ac unit. The unit was 18 yrs old and required a new compressor. I was provided 3 estimates from Velocity. I chose to replace the entire ac system. They installed the system the same day in about 4 hours.

Comments: My HVAC system stopped working, and I called Velocity as they were the ones that installed it 2 years ago. The tech's name is Richie, and he did a great job and was courteous an helpful. The system needed a new capacitor, but he also spent time cleaning things out and providing advice. The only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is the fact that the AC broke down in the first place given it was only 2 years old. Parts were covered under warranty but labor wasn't, which is somewhat frustrating given I had just had Velocity do a tune up a few months earlier.

Comments: Velocity Air came out to remove water from the AC drip pan and blow out the line and reset the float. Initially I was mischarged by the AC technician however the owner contacted me and made it right. Customer service did an excellent job of processing the transaction.

Comments: Had another firm come out first. They were awful!!! Didn't seem to know what he was doing. Didn't run tests, just kept trying to sell us. He was going to charge us well over double (because without any tests, he was going to replace both motors (upstairs and downstairs) rather than the one motor we needed replaced. Eric came in, ran tests to eliminate any other potentially less expensive options before determining for sure that we needed to replace ONE motor. The price on the motor we did replace was $150 less for the same exact motor at the other company. Once the problem was determined, Tim was by the very next day with the part and he made the repairs in no time. Eric and Tim were both awesome! And so was the pricing!!! Highly recommend!!!

Comments: Arrive home post storm to no AC. after some troubleshooting and not being able to find the issue, we called for service. They arrived within 2 hrs and found a separate sub panel for the AC unit that had tripped and reset it for us. Everything worked fine and it was just a quick basic service charge. They looked over the unit and said it was in great shape. A+ service.
